CEMBRANE SUPPLIES CONTAINERIZED PLANT TO EARTHQUAKE STRUCK REGION IN IRAN
The border region between Iran and Iraq experienced a 7,3-maginitude earthquake this November. The earthquake struck in a populated region where more than 1,8 million people live. This brought down the local water supply which left the region with limited access to clean water. Luckily, Cembrane had a containerized plant not too far from the region that could be deployed within a few days, supplying the area with clean water from a local lake. The 20 foot containerized plant is equipped with 24 membrane modules and directly treat 35.000 liters pr. hour, 24 hours pr. day.
To date, the plant has supplied more than 3,5 million liter of clean and safe drinking water to the distressed region!
