CEMBRANE RECEIVES LARGE ORDER FOR A PRODUCED WATER TREATMENT SITE IN US

Cembrane is proud to announce receiving an order for its New Generation Ceramic membranes for a Produced water treatment site in the western USA treating roughly 4.000 m3/day. The installation is planned to take place March 2016. The application is characterized as a difficult to treat water due to the high solids loading (3,5%) and high scaling potential of the feed stream. However, due to the chemical stability and high flux rate of the SiC membranes provided by Cembrane, the technology was selected to do the job.

The order came after Cembrane signed a distribution agreement with RODI Systems to cover the North American market. RODI Systems has decades of experience providing high quality membrane systems, particularly in industrial wastewater streams. This order is a key reference for the two companies and is expected to bring similar follow-up orders in the future.
